Ranushka Fernando (born 29 March 1983) is a Visual effects editor in Sri Lankan cinema and TV media.[1] He has done Animation & Vfx for “E Kale: The One” which became one of the most viewed YouTube song in Sri Lankan music industry [2]

Life and career

Ranushka is the eldest son of Negombo Noble businessmen Pream Fernando,[citation needed] Ranushka attended Maris Stella College in Negombo and Colombo International School[citation needed] before he was in to computer activities & video directions.[citation needed] In 2010 he has started working on Sri Lankan teledramas and movies as an vfx editor.[citation needed] Sri Lankan veteran actor Cleetus Mendis invited him to create Vfx for Parapura[citation needed] which was his debut movie direction then he has done some wonderful work for the passion play teledrama Jesu Kristhu Yuga Peraliya, which has been produced by his father[citation needed] and his works have been highly apriciated by Sri Lankan veteran cinama director Lester James Peries.[3] His music video, “E Kale: The One”, collaborated work with Dinesh Subasinghe has become one of the highest viewed music video on YouTube in Sri Lankan music industry. Ranushka has directed many music videos of Sri Lankan artists.[4]
